Reinstatement, updosing. The drugs involved are so disparate - from skin ointments to eye drops to local anaesthetics to antidepressants, steroids and many others - that it is difficult to attribute these reactions to metabolic effects, allergies or other known effects. Presumably the general hypersensitivity of the nervous system magnifies the reaction to any foreign substances, but no clear explanation has yet emerged.
Posts about Klonopin written by renée a. schuls-jacobson. I worried ER doctors might reinstate the Klonopin, the medication I'd worked so hard to stop taking.
I’m terrified. I used to giggle about grammar errors, and now I’m taking on what I believe to be a cover-up of gigantic proportions.
As a result, I became unable to leave the house and isolated myself for weeks. I’ve always been a social person, comfortable speaking and dancing and generally carrying on in front of large groups of people; suddenly, I was certain everyone was looking at me and wanted to harm me.
Everything was too much. People’s hands were too rough. The world was too bright.
Clonazepam did not reduce my tinnitus, only my anxiety. Reinstating or "going back on" after being off benzos for more than a couple of.
So I began tapering off on my own since the doctor who prescribed it had no advice except to taper. His exact words, “I’m no expert at withdrawal”. Everyone who takes a benzo should work with an informed clinician when it is time to wean off the medication. The doctor who wrote the prescription for you had no business doing so if he couldn’t either advise you on a schedule well-suited to your needs or refer you to a doctor who could help you. I was taking 2mg/day and started reducing my dose by.
I reinstated on Benzos after 8 days of hellish withdrawal. I went on that Non-Benzodiazepine website and posted there to ask for advice.
egodeath: i am sorry to be the one to l you this but ludes don't exist anymore. Yes i know it is a sad thing and even though im not old enough to have ever tried them i almost cry about it too. If anyone thinks benzo withdrawal is bad could you imagine being addicted to ludes or old school barbiturates like nembutal or seconal? Jeez. As for the people on that site yes they are abit nuts. I have heard of people tapering off benzos by putting valium in a solution and dropping down slowly like that.
Klonopin withdrawal AND reinstatement. Posted by Squiggles on February 11, 2002, at 12:20:46. Hello everyone,. You may remember my posts about benzo.
I hope to stabilize soon. The localized, headaches in the back really feel like there's tumour there or something, but I am sure that is just subjective. I also take lithium and Synthroid if that is significant.

I suppose I will never be able to get off this drug, and perhaps I should not - I have read articles that as an anti-convulsant it is specifically given to bipolars because this disorder shares certain aspects of an epileptoid disorder.
